I love fireworks. Don't you? I mean, who doesn't? They're so sparkly and colorful and purty... aren't they fabulous?

Hehe, well yeah, been watching fireworks go off all around town. Pretty impressive, really, you'd think they'd find a better use for taxes. Still, I love them, so I don't mind. I'd be happier without the stink and the noise, but they're still extremely purty.

In other news, I got a LiveJournal account, if only to join the Redwall Art Exchange [link] It looks great to me, especially as quite a few of my ROC friends and acquaintances are there too. I also posted a whiny journal entry [link] there which pretty much outlines everything I've been doing.

"Well, I've finally signed up on LiveJournal. Seems like most people have one, and I'm not against jumping on the bandwagon as long as it's not dangerous or anything. Yes, and also because "most people" include quite a few of my friends.

But my original intention was to get into the Redwall Art Exchange. However, I've realized I don't have any proper profiles or pictures of Sandegar around. Shocking, really. You'd think I'd have something, him being my oldest, favorite and best Redwall character, but I guess not.

So yeah, I've been working on various drawings and a proper character description. I just hope I'm in time to get into next month's exchange, as there's no knowing when it'll start. Why is it so easy to write a new character but so difficult to profile an old one?

Other than that, I've been doing math. Yeah, math. See, this year I attended a big math competition that takes place annually, and I really want to get into the team next year too. So I've been doing a lot of practice with tons of difficult questions, and my brain is exhausted.

I've also watched parts of the original Gundam series. Fascinating, but I don't really like the animation style. Studio Ghibli is the best, of course. They rule. But only in Japanese.

Of course, I'm really tired now from watching too much TV, doing too much math, going cycling and drawing. But I could also do with a lot more sleep - I couldn't sleep yesterday because the Swiss were setting off fireworks all around town. It'll probably be worse tonight. Aaaaaaaaagh!"

And, um, yeah. Right, and I will upload the three pics I did of Sandegar soon. They suck, but they're good enough; they're the best I could do with the resources I had. I might even polish up a couple of the sketches I did yesterday and make proper deviations out of them instead of sending them into Scraps.

Finally, I've been reading the posts for the Third Round of the ROC Tourney [link] and I am still awed by Stonewall/Morton Von Bloodbath and Creejak. They are amazing RPers, and I would give anything (except for my computer) to be able to write like them.

And that's it, I guess, for now. Well, for now and the past three days. That's how long I've been writing this, on and off. Pathetic, really.
